What this page is

A full read on the protocol, before you talk to anyone.

Most people who land here have already spent years on the standard escalation ladder. PT that didn't hold. Cortisone that wore off. Supplements that promised too much. They've been told the only thing left is surgery, or to manage it with NSAIDs, and they don't believe either of those is the right next step.

This page lays out the Joint & Back Pain Regenerative Protocol the way Dr. Newman would walk you through it in person. The cellular reason your pain hasn't healed. The 90-day program that addresses it. The three tiers and what each one includes. The full clinical guide is yours to download and read at your pace, so you can decide whether the protocol is worth a closer look before you talk to anyone.

If you'd rather start by talking to a human, there's a 15-minute call with Elijah at the bottom of every section. He'll hear your story and tell you honestly whether the protocol is something worth exploring for your case.

Who you're sitting with

Siobhan Newman, MD

Most clinics list a credentials block. Here is the part that matters for the visit you're about to book.

  • 33 years of clinical experience, board-certified in Emergency Medicine and Family Medicine
  • Faculty in Cellular Medicine under Dr. William Seeds, one of the recognized authorities in regenerative protocols
  • She reviews every health questionnaire personally before you walk in. Not a nurse, not a PA, her.
  • She conducts every assessment herself, builds every protocol herself, and signs off on every adjustment over the 90 days
  • No volume practice. No revolving door of providers. The patient who walks in on Tuesday sits with the same physician on day 90.
If you decide to come in

Here's what working with Dr. Newman looks like.

  1. Elijah Newman, Client Care Coordinator
    Step 01

    A short call with Elijah

15 minutes, free. He'll hear your history and your goals, answer the questions the guide didn't, and tell you honestly whether an in-person assessment with Dr. Newman makes sense for your case.

  2. Step 02

    Your health intake

If the assessment is the right next step, you'll log into our patient portal and complete your health questionnaires. Dr. Newman reads every answer before you arrive, which is why the protocol feels personalized from minute one.

  3. Step 03

You meet Dr. Newman in person

45 uninterrupted minutes at our Chatsworth estate. She opens with one question, "tell me your story." Then she examines, scans, tests, and builds your personalized plan in the room with you.

  4. Step 04

See if we're the right fit

You leave with your clinical pathway, your scan data, and a clear answer. If the protocol is the right next step, Dr. Newman will tell you what tier fits your case. If it isn't, she'll be honest about that and point you toward what might be.

  5. Step 05

    Begin the protocol

If you and Dr. Newman agree the protocol is the right next step, the 90-day program begins. The pricing and what's included are laid out below.

If the protocol is the right next step

Here's what the 90 days actually look like.

Four phases, sequenced. Every phase does clinical work and produces something you notice on your end. The protocol builds on itself as it progresses.

  1. Dr. Newman meeting with two patients in the consult room
Phase 00 · The starting point

    Initial Assessment

Your in-person visit with Dr. Newman. Functional evaluation, InBody composition, imaging review, and the interview. A personalized protocol is designed at the end of this visit.

  2. Phase 01 · Weeks 1–4

    Foundation

    What we do
    • LifeCare Blood Panel ordered if indicated, customized to your blood work
    • Foundation supplement stack begins
    • Daily regenerative peptide injections
    • Joint-targeted compound twice weekly
    • HIFEM + RF sessions to release tight muscle
    • Hormone or GLP-1 therapy initiated if indicated
    What you notice
    • Less post-treatment soreness
    • Decreased muscle tension and stiffness
    • Improved range of motion
    • Better sleep
  3. Phase 02 · Weeks 5–8

    Building

    What we do
    • Building-phase supplement stack added
    • Emsculpt NEO sessions twice weekly
    • Local peptide injections to specific injury sites where indicated
    • Exosome therapy assessed at Week 6 if progress is short of target
    • All therapies running concurrently as the full protocol system
    What you notice
    • Better balance and coordination
    • Increased strength while daily activities become easier
    • Able to do things you couldn't do before
    • Friends and family start to notice
  4. Phase 03 · Weeks 9–12

    Transformation

    What we do
    • Emsculpt NEO continues twice weekly
    • Regenerative peptides transitioned to maintenance dosing
    • Supplement protocol optimized for ongoing maintenance
    • Closing consultation at Week 12 reviewing outcomes and planning what comes next
    What you notice
    • Sustained improvements even as treatments end
    • Many patients experience 60% to 80% pain reduction by weeks 9–12
    • Improved tissue quality
    • Functional goals largely or completely achieved

"I wish I started sooner." Most patients say it. The improvements continue for months after treatment ends because we change the physiology, not the symptom.

Finalized after the in-person assessment

What the 90 days costs, if you're a candidate.

The pricing below is the full price of the 90-day Joint & Back Pain Regenerative Protocol. All three tiers are full clinical programs, physician-led from first visit to final adjustment. The exact tier and the final number are confirmed after Dr. Newman has examined your case in person. If the protocol isn't the right fit, she'll be honest about that and refer you to a treatment or specialist she'd send a family member to.

Tier 1

Basic Protocol

$14,000 Across 90 days
  • 12 HIFEM + RF sessions (Emsculpt NEO)
  • Targeted tissue peptide treatment (regenerative peptides)
  • Joint and cartilage support stack
  • Biomarker analysis
  • 3 doctor consultations
  • Pharmaceutical management as the case requires
Tier 3

Advanced Protocol

$25,000 Across 16 weeks
  • Everything in the Comprehensive Protocol
  • IV exosomes
  • 20 HIFEM + RF sessions (upgraded from 16)

  • Extended 16-week protocol timeline
Protocol Enhancements

Hormone optimization, GLP-1 therapy, or advanced metabolic panel additions may be recommended after your bloodwork, adding roughly $1,000 to $2,000 each based on what your case calls for. Dr. Newman walks you through any add-on before it's prescribed, and nothing is added without your sign-off.

Pricing is finalized after Dr. Newman reviews your case in person. We don't generic-quote, and the protocol is tailored to your imaging, your history, and your case complexity. Payment plans are available, including HSA and FSA, see How Payment Works for the breakdown.

Common questions

Frequently Asked Questions.

How long until I feel a difference?

The honest answer is that the first few weeks are foundation work, settling supplementation, calming inflammation, beginning the peptide and HIFEM sequence. Patients often notice small changes early, like less morning stiffness or better sleep, but the meaningful inflection point in pain and function tends to land around week 10. The protocol works upstream of the symptom, which takes longer than masking it, and that's the trade for changes that hold after treatment ends. Results vary by case, baseline tissue health, and adherence to the supporting lifestyle work.

How much does the full Joint & Back Pain Protocol cost?

The program is structured in three tiers based on the complexity of your case and the number of joints we're addressing. Most patients land between $14,000 and $25,000 for the full 90-day program. You'll get an exact number after your assessment once Dr. Newman reviews your imaging and history. Pricing isn't generic because the protocol isn't generic.

Are payment plans available?

Yes. We offer in-house payment plans for the protocol as well as financing options through WellFit Pay. We'll walk you through the options after your assessment, once you know which tier fits your case. HSA and FSA funds typically apply, and many patients submit superbills to their PPO for partial reimbursement.

Can I bring someone with me to the assessment?

Yes. You're welcome to bring one person with you, a partner, an adult child, a close friend, whoever helps you think clearly. Some patients prefer to come alone for the first visit. Either is fine. There's nothing about the assessment that requires privacy you'd want to protect from someone you trust.

Do I have to commit to the protocol after the assessment?

No. The assessment is its own complete visit. You leave with your full clinical picture, your InBody data, and a personalized plan in writing. If you want to take that and think about it, take it. If the protocol is the right next step for you, Dr. Newman will tell you. If it isn't, she'll tell you that too.

Can I cancel or reschedule my assessment?

Yes. Cancel or reschedule any time before your visit and receive a full refund. We just ask for 24 hours' notice when possible.

Where are you located? Do you offer this anywhere else?

Our office is in Chatsworth, California, a private estate in the northwest San Fernando Valley, intentionally non-clinical. Patients come from across LA, Ventura County, and the surrounding region. We're a single location with no satellite offices.

Do you take insurance?

We're a cash-pay concierge practice, so we don't bill insurance directly. That said, many patients submit superbills to their PPO for partial reimbursement, and HSA or FSA funds can typically be applied to the protocol. We'll walk you through it on your visit.

Is this an alternative to joint replacement surgery?

It depends on the case. For some patients the protocol can change the math on whether surgery is the right next step. For others, surgery is genuinely indicated, and the protocol becomes a complement, conditioning the tissue beforehand and supporting recovery after. The point of the assessment is to give you a clear read on which path your case actually calls for. Dr. Newman will be honest if surgery is the better answer, and she'll help you think through the decision either way.

What if I've already tried PT, injections, or cortisone?

That's the situation most of our patients are in by the time they find us. The protocol is built specifically for people who've exhausted the standard escalation ladder and are looking for something upstream of it.

Is Dr. Newman the physician I'll actually see?

Yes. Siobhan Newman, MD, is the physician for every assessment and every protocol case. You're not handed off to a tech or a PA for the clinical decisions. She's the one reviewing your imaging, building your plan, and adjusting it as you go.

Can I bring my own MRI or imaging?

Yes, and we encourage it. If you have recent MRI, X-ray, or other imaging, bring it. If you don't, we can coordinate the imaging you need before or during the protocol.

What about my blood work?

Recent labs are useful but not required for the assessment. If you have a recent panel, bring it. If the protocol is the right next step, Dr. Newman will order targeted labs as part of building your plan.

What does onboarding look like once I decide to come in?

Once you and Elijah agree the assessment makes sense for your case, he enters you into Cerbo, our patient system, schedules your assessment day with Dr. Newman, walks you through the patient portal so you can complete your health questionnaires, and accepts any prior imaging or labs you'd like uploaded ahead of your visit. This step is how we make sure Dr. Newman has the full picture before you walk in the door.

What does the 15-minute call with Elijah cover?

Elijah handles new patient calls. His job is to hear your story, your history, and what you're trying to figure out. If an in-person assessment with Dr. Newman is the right next step for your case, he'll help you schedule. If it isn't, he'll tell you. The call is free, fifteen minutes, no pressure, no card on file.

What's in the protocol guide?

The same long-form clinical document patients receive in print at their assessment. It walks through why the standard escalation ladder, PT, NSAIDs, cortisone, supplements, tends to stop working at midlife, what's happening at the cellular level that's blocking repair, and the 90-day program the practice uses to address it. It's the deeper read for people who want the case spelled out before they decide whether to come in. Free, sent to your inbox.
